The multiplier curve is not a live market. Each round draws a random number before the first bet is placed, and the house edge sits inside the payout table, not in the shape of the curve. Nothing in the last hundred rounds tells you anything about the next one, and cashing out earlier changes how wildly your results swing, not what they average out to.

Online betting law in India
Many readers arrive with one question. Here is the reply, without a detour.
Online money gaming is banned in India. The rule is Act No. 32 of 2025 (the Act on India Code). Enforcement began on 1 May 2026 (Supreme Court Observer). A cash bet on cricket sits inside the ban, and so does an app based abroad.
Punishment is not light. Offering such a game can bring up to three years in jail, plus a fine up to one crore rupees (PRS Legislative Research). A court challenge to the Act is still pending (Supreme Court Observer). Pending is not paused.

Is online cricket betting legal in India?
No. There is no lawful way to stake money on cricket online in India. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 banned online money games across the country, and the ban started on 1 May 2026. Our full read of the statute is on the betting law page.
Why is cricket betting illegal in India?
Because the Act bans the activity outright. It does not ask whether cricket betting is a game of skill: on 27 May 2026 the Supreme Court held that a bet on a game of skill is not protected trade under Article 19(1)(g). Details sit on the case tracker.
Which betting apps are banned in India?
The Act bans the activity, so there is no official list of named apps. A foreign licence changes nothing for you: Section 1(2) reaches money games run from outside India. We name no platform either way. What the offshore rule means is on the offshore apps page.
Will cricket betting become legal in India?
Nothing currently before us points that way. On 27 May 2026 the Supreme Court upheld state gaming laws, and a fourth ruling the same day upheld GST on gaming stakes. We do not forecast outcomes: when a dated ruling or amendment lands, we date it on the case tracker.
Do you tell me where to place a bet?
No. We name no platform and link to none. Promotion of a money game is an offence under the Act (the Act text).
